Committees
Membership Committee:
Responsible for membership drive and coordinating "The Big Day," which distributes gift bags to our entire membership. Formulates plans for future membership events such as new member orientations and open house. This committee meets once a month.
Education Committee:
The Education Committee's focus is to bring educational events to our chamber members on a variety of topics, and provide information regarding the school systems in our service area. This committee meets as needed throughout the calendar year.
Government Connections Committee:
The Government Connections Committee (GCC)
is responsible for providing a forum where local businesses can educate themselves on government, economic and infrastructure issues.
This committee meets monthly.
Parade Committee:
It takes 60 volunteers to put on the Holiday parade. This committee is responsible for fundraising, securing sponsors and organizing the actual event. Always looking for new members or volunteers, the Parade Committee meets six times per year.
Ambassadors:
Assists new members to become acquainted with the Chamber organization. Hand delivers new member orientation packets, greets them at Business After Hours, contacts them to remind them of upcoming events and answers any questions they may have.
Fundraising Committees:
These committees consist of the a variety of individuals who support our fundraising efforts which include the Golf Classic, Wine Tasting and Annual Dinner. Responsible for working with the Executive Director to organize and impliment the event. Secures sponsos, hires entertainment, and volunteers during the event. Each separate committee meets about six months out of the year and consists of five committee members.
